Supply Chain Assistant

The primary role is to assist with the purchase of components and or sub-assemblies from our various suppliers, from information gained from the Engineering team. The main function of the role will be managing the procurement process. This will involve creating Purchase Orders, getting them authorised and sending the PO to the Supplier. Once the component/service has been provided, the role will manage the Goods Inwards process ensuring all documentation is recorded in our on line document library. The role will also involve liaising with the suppliers and if any queries arise during the manufacturing process, these to be reported to the Engineering director to be resolved. Ideally a background in engineering would be useful in this role. However, anyone with administration and data skills would be able to fulfil this role. The role can be performed from home.
