We are delighted to announce that a generous donation has been received from one of our members to the Bogie Appeal Fund. This will pay for the machining of the Bogie Stretcher and Centre Slide castings. The casting of these components has been paid by another generous benefactor. We're now well on the way to being able to complete phase 1 of the bogie manufacture |

| Tender Lifting Eyes |

A pair of tender lifting eyes arrived yesterday. These are riveted to the rear of the tender. The reproduction of the original BR drawing for the tender tank arrangement was not very clear so we had to measure the real thing on a tender on the Great Central Railway |
